1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

This was an amazing week at the chapel. God sent many truck drivers to visit the me. Last Sunday I had four visitors, my friend Kevin from my church was one. Kevin is praying for God’s direction. He would like to become a volunteer chaplain and work along side of me at the chapel.

Steve from Edmonton, AB. Eddy from Stanley, MB. Leo, Anthony, Kevin and Harvey all from Winnipeg MB. Viney from Brampton. Jon from Lacombe, AB. Dennis from Avonlea, SK. Elvin from Mount Forest, ON and Rod and his dog (Buford) from Summer Village of Wauprous, AB. The majority of these guys have a relationship with Jesus and came to the chapel for fellowship and prayer. There was one man who did not know Jesus. I shared about my faith and he took a gospel of John with him. I pray God will speak to his heart and one day soon have a saving relationship with Jesus. Our Heavenly Father, brings many drivers across my path each week. Our truck drivers have a very difficult job and there are days when they get overwhelmed with the struggles on the road and at home. Open Road Chapels has many locations across Canada. These Chapels are a safe haven for our truckers. For me at the Winnipeg chapel, God has layed a burden on my heart for them. I drove truck 44 years and I can relate to there pain and struggles. I welcome every visitor to the chapel with a warm smile and a hello. My majority of visitors are truckers, but I must add all are welcome.

I’m excited about Christmas 2026. Last year I gave out 60 Christmas stockings to drivers, filled with all kinds of goodies. This year my church and myself are giving out 125 Christmas boxes. We do this to show the love of Christ and to show are appreciation to all truckers. I’ll keep you posted to when we are giving the boxes away. This has been a very exciting week and I’m looking forward to see what God has planned for this coming week. Well, until next week, be blessed.
